Lily Turf is an evergreen clump-forming or ground cover plant. They are also valued for their spires of autumn flowers, followed by purple-black berries.
There are just eight species, which are found growing in scrubland or woodland edges across China, Japan and Vietnam, and only three of these are common in gardens.
They grow best in part-shade with fertile, yet well-drained soil. However, full sun will be tolerated.
