POLYGONATUM

POLYGONATUM

ASPARAGACEAE

Solomon&rsquos Seal is a genus of woodland perennials, which can be either clump-forming or ground-covering. They produce clusters of green-white, hanging flowers beneath their arching stems, followed by blue, black or red berries.

There are about 60 species native to Asia, Europe and the USA, some of which can be invasive in gardens.

They are easy to grow in part-shade, with humus-rich soil.
