Globe Flowers are clump-forming, deciduous perennials, which hold their cup-shaped flowers above mounds of buttercup-like foliage. Colours range from rich orange, through yellow, to pale cream.
There are around 30 different species, native to stream banks and wet meadows in the mountains of Europe, Northern Asia and North America.
They are happy in sun or part-shade, but a moist soil is essential. They are ideal as marginal or bog plants.
