ERIOPHYLLUM
Asteraceae
12 species of annual and perennial from USA, Mexico and Canada.
Their native habitat is open scrubland usually sandy in nature.
Only one variety is commonly grown the “Oregon sunshine” Eriophyllum lanatum.
Easy to grow in sunny free draining sites their woolly grey leaves do not like getting too wet. Cutting back hard after flowering will maintain a more compact plant.
