Very large genus of flowering sub shrubby plants, within the rose family; with a worldwide distribution and diverse growing conditions.

Rubus articus is native to places such as Alaska, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Canada, and Northern Russia. It grows in part shade or open land with a high organic matter content. In the correct conditions it will bear very tasty fruit.
